Formed in London in 1980 and consisting of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, Wham! became one of the most commercially successful pop acts of the '80s and sold 30 million records worldwide between 1982 to 1986. Michael and Ridgeley met at Bushey Meads School in Hertfordshire, England. The two performed in a short-lived ska band called The Executive. When the group split, they formed Wham!
